WELCOME TO THE VALLEY

Valley Tennis is a tennis community with a rich history whose roots in Redding date back to 1900. Its purpose is to provide a setting and opportunity for participants of all ages, genders and abilities to engage in friendly, neighborly play. Regular games are scheduled during the week and on weekends. Ad-hoc games can be schedules on this website. The play is multi-generational which is one of the hallmarks.

 

The culture is one of unpretentious simplicity. Courts are self maintained.

 

This quiet spot provides members a spiritual place. An environment that is a touchstone in ones' larger life. For that we thank Jo-Ann and David Brooks for graciously providing the courts.

 

At the end of the season the community gathers to celebrate both recent and past camaraderie and court antics in a convivial manner.
